milbank flashbacks
i’ve been using this fluorescence microscope the past few days to look at some brain slides i made. for some reason when i have been doing it, i’ve been having weird memories of us sitting in milbank 13e, playing resident evil and doing power hours and whatever else we used to do second semester of that year, and i couldn’t figure out why. then it hit me. it’s an old scope, and i have to manually turn a dial every time i need to change the color of fluorescence from red to green. but to get from one to the other, i have to pass through purple fluorescence that makes the entire field i’m looking at look like it’s under a black light. just like the one we kept in butters’ tank at night.
